Remington Arms Company, LLC (“Remington”) has voluntarily issued a recall on their Remington Model 700™ and Model Seven™ rifles with X-Mark Pro® (“XMP®”) triggers, manufactured from May 1, 2006 to April 9, 2014. 

The company has determined that some Model 700 and Model Seven rifles with XMP triggers could, under certain circumstances, unintentionally discharge. As a means to ensure user safety,  they are undertaking this recall.

 Clayton County police have arrested 23-year-old Aamirr Philpot and charged him with rape, false imprisonment and aggravated sodomy for robbing and raping women he met on social media websites at gunpoint.

Sgt. Scott Hughes of the Clayton County Police Department said "Once he (Philpot) made contact with the females and gained their trust, he would arrange to meet them at a location and when they arrived, he would rape and rob them," .

On May7th, 2011 Superior Security Concepts conducted their Introduction to Handguns for Self Defense course at Sandy Springs Gun Club. STONE MOUNTAIN, GA -- Every once in a while a hero steps into someone's life. One stepped into Heather Kloer's life on January 6th. It happened in the parking lot of an Office Depot on Memorial Drive in Stone Mountain. Kloer was walking to her car when she was approached by a man with a knife.
